Infatti la scala 1/24 è per un uomo alto 1800mm ---- 1800:24=75mm. Per la tua scala di 21.2 rapportando ad un uomo alto 1800mm il soldatino diventerebbe alto 84,90mm

Thanks for the reply, I will gather some pics. I got a bit frustrated there ..

Napoleon was 1690mm top to toe. If you take of 100mm when measuring from eye level you get 1590. If you divide 1590 with 1:56 you get 28 mm scale. I use same logic for 75mm, as for all figure scales.

I use AutoCAD 123dx, a very easy to use CAD program.

we have different ways of seeing ..... long ago on planet https://www.planetfigure.com/threads/scale-sizes-in-terms-of-inches.274828/#post-1098132 I am convinced that the only correct way to take the measurements and therefore the scale is to refer to certain data .. you mentioned Napoleon so a French 1777 musket was 152 mm long, the barrel 113 mm only (I go to memory) so tip of the emperor's nose (or a little further) ..with your calculation is it?

Sorry I'm boring ... many say it's my zodiac sign's fault hahaha

I come from the model railway community so in principle I agree with you, measuring the hole lenght makes more sense. Why wargamers and figure painters prefer measure from eye level is that soldiers always has some kind of hat on, which makes eye level easier to compare with. At least that is what I got explained to me when I first asked the same question years ago. I try to adapt to this (for me also) new way of thinking.

To make it a bit more confusing, the general public is now 10-12 cm longer than they were in the early 1800s.. which is the time period I am modelling in now. So for a WW2 figure you need to be a bit more flexible..

Here comes the cannon from 1816.

My friend from DigitalSculpt made the figure in the background (not same scale/size as the cannon dead center). The cannon and limber far left is in 54mm scale.

    Field cannon m/1863,

Since I made above, the "kings cannon" from 1816, I also made this a more modern version from 1863. Hope to add a limber to in the near future. I was told there is a new replica made from original drawings I can measure from.

123dx is no longer available since it was replaced by Fusion 360 which is the current program from AutoCAD. But you can get a copy from me if you want. It is a free version still available from a few places. But I would not trust those because of the computer viruses problem.

I got curios and downloaded above version myself. This is NOT the version I am working with, but a later BETA version.
That said it does not need to be bad, but surely different ... Below is a short video o YouTube showing how it looks when you use it.

Hi, they are all home made except the Parrot which is in 3D. I've made them all with brass, plasticard and used lathe and cutters.
