Mike Butler has worked his magic on two more of my figures. Jimmy is sleeping in his itchy blanket while Uncle peers at his map through his glasses. The figure are converted by me and then cleaned and enhanced by Mike before adding his wonderful paintwork. They look great in the dugout that I created for them. THANKS Mike!

See the light shine through Uncle's glasses which Mike made from bent wire! See the chalk stains over his clothing.

On the desk are letters sent by my Grandfather during WW1 to my Grandmother. These's also a pair of wire-cutters, made up of 14 little bits of styrene.

There's plenty to see including a copy of Wipers Times and a rolled up gas curtain.

Its lit from both sides by LED lamps.

It took four tense weeks for the post from New Zealand but my prayers were finally answered on Friday! Worth the wait!!

Beautiful work as always! A real sense of atmosphere. What happened to your website and sbs on building trench sections and other trench items such as barbed wire, duckboards, fascines, corrugated sheets?

My website is still there but I removed the tutorials because I'm just about to submit a book to Crowood Press. It will have much more than I had as tutorials and it will explain the history behind each section.

Mike Butler has pasted some of his 1:32 scale skin and cloth onto another of my figures! He's a Tommy's War figure sculpted by Gianpierro Russo https://tommyswar.co.uk/product/tw32g01-captain-4th-bn-berkshire-regiment-france-1915/
I gave him a Brodie, box respirator and folding periscope. Mike enhanced him even further!

This is an officer who accompanies my Lewis gunner. Harry Patch was No 2 in a Lewis gun team, so we've called him "Harry". There are no records, that I could find, of his officer, so this guy was named after his No1 and friend Bob. THANKS Mike!! Can't wait to put them in the Reversed trench! ("Harry" is coming on beautifully!)
