My grandad bought up a whole load of these after the war. Loads of lads bought them to go to work on in Stoke....!!(y)

Hi Ian, yes that is the plan, the 1/9 version was a practice run before doing the 1/16 version.

You have a super model..I am nervous of fragility tho..must be a real chore casting it and shipping without ending up in pile of shards. Not to mention the courage required to assemble without damaging anything. A great detailing project, maybe finding suitable aftermarket chain from the model moto community..

Anything I have have ever received from Steve (and I've had a lot of parcels from him) has always reached me in perfect condition. Packaging is always top notch. As for the fragility are you talking about your modelling skills!!!! or the way the bike looks. I have seen all the breakdown parts of this kit long before it was released on here and it is superbly engineered and robustly designed. I could understand concerns may be for 1/35 scale but not 1/9. As for a chore casting, Steve is one of the best the mould makers and casters I have worked with and he engineer's the chore out it.

Not criticizing at all Ritchie..but resin is more brittle than other media notwithstanding the maker..would be good to have some actual pictures of the parts..only suggesting is a challenging thing due nature of the material and not challenging the maker..no matter the scale resin bike chains ..that’s going to be fun times to clean up and finish without damaging

Awesome work Stevo. Funny, a local friend found one of these in our area in the junk yard, completely intact. I'll bet it's worth a pretty penny.

    Excellent build Amigo!

He's a lucky man to find one and intact as well, if in good original condition probably worth in region of £15,000 :)
    Cheers
