    Yes the bust is in armour for a Joute ( Jousting), so no ornaments, no coat of arms
    But in a Tournament ( what you show hereabove) you are right; light armour ( often in leather, looking like this) covered with clothes with full regalia, coat of arms,

    I can assure you it was not leather or light. Joust refers to mounted combat with lances, the word tournament covers that and foot combat.
