Hello, this small article is a study about making a bleeding wound. This is not a Figure is only a Study, a part from a old reference from Verliden 1/35 scale. If you want to paint Figures ... you have to PAINT, PAINT and PAINT... you have to try, to fail, and learn from your mistakes, thats the only way to learn, so lets Paint.

I have prepared (and I had a lot of fun doing it) this part of the Figure as first step ...

Then I´ve painted a spot/zone of dark red /redish brown, made with this 2 colours, in the bandages, because the tissue absorbs the blod, and the blod dryies/coagulate very fast in deed, becoming a dark redish matt colour - if the tissues is dark, like blue or green, the blood spot becomes almost black colour

If the wound keeps bleeding, then the source of bloud (bleeding wound), lwill have a more vivid red colour, a bit shiny/satin because it is wet


So I mix this 2 Cristal Colours (I know sounds strange, but works very well) that are transparent and a bit glossy, and I put it in the center of the previous work, just a litlle bit don´t put too much, it´s just to give the "feeling", actually everyone will see that a part of the blood is dry and the other is fresh, because it shines

this is a rather small Figure 1/35 and the photos...are only photos, hope they capture what I mean
