    This seems to be a period you have settled on for a while. Lovely start.
    The shoulder scales have a slot in the end for a twist type holder attached to the uniform jacket at the top of the shoulder and a brass slider sewn to the tip of the shoulder. See the attached photo. These are OR shoulder scales, Sncos wore a different type. Shoulder-Scales-NCO.jpg
