    Hi everybody,

We are "Break the mold", a new miniature brand that want to create fresh concepts and want do new things for the hobby.

We are now on Kickstarter with our second figure called The Prince of Kunlun: the-prince-of-kunlun-a-54mm-exquisite-limited-miniature

A 54 mm (real size is 66 mm). Inspired by Asia, we mixed old and modern concepts.
Sculpted by Raúl Latorre. A limited edition, only 150 copies.
This miniature belongs to a exclusive line called Sedibus, that will represent people with power.

Not for me this one, but a good sculpt and I can appreciate it for what it is. And with Latorre's name attached it will hopefully do well for you.

The koi carp throne is seriously cool and with a more menacing, Frazetta-esque subject sitting on it, I might have been tempted.

I found 72 euro' s to much for a 54 mm even with that awesome throne.

I normally really like the mixture of old and new styles but on this piece those trainers just stand out so much I'm finding it hard to see past them. It's a pity because as Steve said that throne really is cool, I just feel the figure isn't up to the same creative level.

hi Marc, we understand your personal opinion completely ;)
However, When we do the math for the retail price, we have to take in consideration a lot of aspects, not just the scale (btw, 66mm total).
Because we want to make something very impressive , we decide to make on this concept 4 primary elements.
    a person, a throne and 2 kois.

This means, all the cost increase significantly , not just because the printing and resin copies but also the concept artist, sculptor.... and so on.

Sometimes bigger doesn't mean better and expensive ;)

Anyways, thanks so much for the feedback and we thought about it, of course.

    Thanks for the feedback!
We were looking for this specific design, so we are very glad with the mixture of concepts, and of course the sneakers.

Just a matter of personal opinion.

Exactly Sara, and for me that is the best thing in our hobby and what keeps it interesting that all tastes are catered for. Also it would be so easy to convert just the trainers, I would probably go for trainers still but in the jika tabi style as it could look nice with the koi fish and fit your asia concept.
And it really will be interesting to see the other models you are going to produce as the sculpting and composition of this piece is beautiful.
