Curious what n.f.i. stands for....well......No Figures Involved. Not that I don't want them in this ultimate challenge ( and maybe I will ) but they would be soooooooo small.
This project will take some years so don't expect a SBS...........but IT WILL BE BUILD !
Some years ago I finished the Aoshima TB1,2 and 3 launchbays which are on a 1/350 scale which is too big to make a Tracy Island Cut-Away. Recently sold them but being a TB-fan for over 55 years now I decided the Island will be there !
So....here's the plan on a 1/700 scale. I did find a TB1,2 and 3 on a 1/700 scale and my good friend Luc Benheim made a TB4 ( 3d print ) but evertything elkse will be scratchbuilded. Perhaps I can use some Eduard 1/700 stuff they offer for ships but that will be all. How big the whole thing will be? Don't know yet. First I will make the launchbays and after that I can figure out if it will fill our spare bedroom ...... :sorry:.

Fair enough! Not really sure why some people have an aversion to FB, it works just fine for me and our model group!(y)

Working on the backwall of the TB1 Launchbay, all scratchbujild and sparebooks and man.........this is small..... Added a paintbottle to show you how small...
Had to "open up" the TB1 very carefully since the wings weren't folded like they ought to be. Removed the wings and placed them back in folded position :nailbiting::dead:
