    Thanks gents, laid down some base coats of flesh tones tonight. Focussing on smooth blending.

    Geoff, your bust was what inspired me to get this one. It’s a beauty.

    I shall be picking up the Grieve Blues and Royals bust at the weekend while at Bugle Call, so really looking forward to painting that one.

    Thanks for your comments chaps. I’m about to start the next stage of painting the flesh tones which involves the stippling of thousands of tiny colour dots. Looking forward to doing this, as I just zone out listening to music. Sometimes I can start painting at 10pm and still be going at it when the sun comes up the next morning.
