Looks to me like the Assiniboin Warrior of La Meridiana Miniatures the major difference seems to be the scale as La Meridiana made the kit in 75mm and this one is according to the box-info of 54mm scale but the similarity is still stunning...

The figure is sculpted in watercolor by Karl Bodmer! Until this moment, we have never seen a figure of La Meridiana.

Yep, clear case of a shared source: bound to happen occasionally.

There must be many more, especially with the popularity of paintings from the likes of David, Job, Knotel, Lady Butler and so on... plus the Osprey etc illustrations.

BTW: I notice that both of the Dacian sculpts correct the original painting's 'faix-pas'

... in fact I see SKU and Irbis share a source, albeit in different scales (and accuracy/quality).
