I'm out of i-net for lack of time, but the last months i was spending it to finish this project. Yes. After more of seven month stopped, i decided take the band again and put the brushes on it with the goal of had something different in the cabinet. Better or worse, but walk the path till the end.
    Warning!!! The pics are shit.

Some detalis. My wife erased the pics of the painting of the figures. I had some.
I must say that i could not find pictures at google of the drum kit for details. Only general planes of it. Hundreds of pics with the guitars and basses owned of Gibbons and Hill. I tried to paint different blacks at clothes.

Some planeteer remember my thread exposing i received the kit without cymbals and the drumkit had nothing in common with Frank Beard's drums, so i take putty and make (as i could, i don't know sculpt) new cybals, drums, another bass, pedal, and the support of the cymbals

It's all with acrylics less the draws in red, with oil. A lot of airbrush at drumkit. The fu**ing skulls where a headache to draw and paint, and the skulls of the double bass horrible to modelling, but all is finished and the result is less worse than i thought. The trick to ending was to paint first the figures, and then have the must of the drumkit. In other order i never could end the project.

Brilliant work. A hugely impressive project that really shows what figure modelling is all about.
Taking on the challenge to really enhance and improve the basic kit. I'd say you've overcome your aversion to putty.

This is splendid work!Just a hint, your wife erased the pics intentionally because we all know that "every girl goes crazy for such sharp dressed men...".In addition this is a civilian vignette that feels quite like a battle scene. You can almost hear the music by looking at this vignette.Congrats my friend.

Thanx to all for your kind lines

Would be great Nap. Very great could send photos to the band.

Is the first time i try something so "big". A lot of time looking for information, photos, dates, and adapting the work to my skills and materials. The secret is no leave it when you are in a phase, and rest between one and the next. If the theme doesn't like me so much it was in some corner of the closet getting powder.
You're very optimistic. Putty and me have an impossible relationship:nailbiting: We try but we can't :ROFLMAO:

The last line is what i would like everybody could feel when watch the vignete. At least i got it once.

    Terrific!!

    Billy looks the spittin' image.

Big fan of Frank Beard - that guy knows a thing or two about drum grooves. One of the things he does best is play complex figures so they just come out sounding eZ. If you play, try playing Tush correctly. Not a snap.

    A fine and original vignette!

    All the best,
    Dan
