Wow, that is freaking fantastic. Finally something from Young I want to paint again. I was getting tired of all the modern warriors. I already have mine on order through my local hobby shop. Thanks Young for a stellar release.

You could almost hear: "My name is Bond, James Bond."

Excellent sculpt! Next in the "to buy" line.

Templars are getting as common as SS soldiers in oakleaf cammo. Have to say though that this is an exceptional example - especially the face. I wannna paint one!

Actually, with just a little work to the garments, you could have a fine rendition of Rassuli (sp) of the "Wind and the Lion".

Excellent figure as it is though.

That is an incredible piece. The first person I thought of was Sean Connery, but I wasn't going to say anything until I saw the first response posted. I agree.

Me too ! Me too ! ;);):D That's an excellent rendition of the actor if I do say so myself (y) ! Indeed, another winner from Young Miniatures (and a non-WW2 German one to boot !) Cheers !

Amazing sculpting from Ebroin, as always.

I find the box art this time round very significant. Mr Mocci gifted this ancient subject matter with gentle, milky colours, contrasting the equally impressive vibrant colours that graced previous releases. The relative absence of strong highlights works perfectly. The general tone is almost one of a poem's.

Recent releases from Young Miniatures would suggest a 2011 of pleasant surprises for Young fans. I especially yearn for Ebroin's efforts on Soviet warriors, and other modern subjects.
