    Gidday All,
This has been a complex build and nothing went right first time.Anyway, the figure comes in four pieces, head ,pair of hands with cuffs and a body. What you see with the morter there comes another 26 pieces to add, such as sight, wheel and screw and various attachments to the base plate.
You will see flash at the back of the figure as this is the first casting it should be avoided on the next castings or at least come away easily. The scale of the figure is 90mm and the morter also.
    Comments welcome.

It is very easy, from where Andy had the figure and the "Minenwerfer". It is a figure and a kit from "Andy" himself.

Hi Andy. It looks absolutley great and I can´t wait to get my hands on it. The officier and his position is super and unusual. I think I will make the trench like that on the photo

    outstanding, i'm impressed
the morter is very well in detail, did you made everything by your self?

the figure in place ,open coat, shirt free and head gear lose on the head
gives a good impression of being relaxed

will it be released before euromili?
if so ,i must take a lot of money with me
    :)

    Gidday All,
painting has started on the figure.Acrylics are being used. Some filling needed on the small finger.Comments welcome.

I agree with Marc. I think this kinda cries out for a whole crew, not just the single figure. I know it would become "uneconomical" and make for much too high a cost for you to include all of them in the kit. How many in a mortar crew? 4 or 5?

And I also agree that the setting in a cut-in trench like the one shown on Marc's postcard would look nice.

    All the best,
    Dan
