I have now started the "Wrath of God" by Andrea. He will be paired with two white knights so for contrast he has to be in black as per the box art. I am not particularly looking forward to doing such a large black area and several areas at that. In order to reach everything he will have be done in sections and then assembled.

It will be oil over acrylic base.

Here is the face and I will touch the eyes up a little more on the eye lids after the oil is dry.

The body only has a single Acrylic black coat on at this point. The inside/underside is completed and he is glued onto the base permanently at this point. The base will be screwed to the vignette base after completion.

The red is a mixture of the red with flesh tone added as per your suggestions, to fade it down to look a little worn. The inside black is finished, I think:D The chain mail will get a little more, very little, highlight at small sections, after the completion of the figure as a last touch.

I will try and make the cloak a different black than the above. I will try and go with a cold black on the cloak. The above is a warm black using flesh to lighten the highlights.

All comment are welcomed and appreciated.

    Oh Wow, John:
What a dramatic pose this is. This project will
just crackle with tension and atmosphere. I am
particularly impressed with the way you do the hair
    and beard. Kansas Kid
