Managed to get this bad boy after years of looking. It's a very challenging piece with loads of different techniques needed.
I thought I'd post the top half so far showing the fur collar.

Base of german camo biege, some english uniform washed selectively and german camo black washed selectively.

Dry brushed with some German camo beige:

Highlighted with english uniform with white added.

Now with head and woollen textured legs

The face is done and just need to weather and metalize the helmet rim.
I changed his tunic to a grey colour as the field grey it was before just looked like it merged into the long coat.
The ribbons, collar tabs, epaulettes and the iron cross, even in 200mm was a real challenge. I haven't strained my eyes so much since I watched Cindy Crawfords workout video!

The longcoat was treated with 3m photomount (Thanks Carl) to try and give a woollen texture as the coat was extremely smooth.
Just realised this German is in the ideal position for doing "The Running man" dance move! Utah Saints anyone?
