With hair I would go back to main basic volumes and refine them after. At the moment it behaves like fabric, think about head volumes (like ears ) under the hair too.

Showing one ear may also bring something to the party, may be hair tucked behind ear on one side. Personally I like that image, it goes well with her face.

I think that the shoulders are wide enough (at least they have common measure: 3 heads wide)-but the head is turned right, so you do not see actual width of the torso in the first pic.
