Viking Warlord - Andrea 54mm - start

    Just kicked off this guy preparing fro Le Petit Soldat in Italy this October.

    started with chainmail (almost finished) and some work on face that unfortunately doenst show due to my bad shooting last night

    thanks folks
    I use almost everytime different chainmail method , trying to get the best one for me
    This one :

    Chainmail :
    titanium - black paint mix in 2 layers thin enough. Over brush lightly with steel
    hihglights with printers ink silver
    shadows with burnt umber and black oils , and sweeping them after 1-2 hours .

    It looks very similar with what i did on the Irish Knight. Instead of titanium + bLack i use black with printers ink.
    maybe something to try for your next.
    I will try this one from you.

    The face looks fine Costas, shaded appropriately to the sculpting and the colour looks good to me. Looking forward to seeing how this progresses.

    Thanks a lot Einion . By Monday i should have been finished with head (hair moustache , touch ups) and have put some paint on clothing so i ll get another update here .
