Completed Vercingetorix

    This is my latest 54mm figure and is the Andrea white metal kit of the Gaul leader Vercingetorix. It is the first time I have painted tartan trousers and is quite difficult, especially under the strapping. My tip for this is paint it all as though its tartan then paint the strapping last, but you all probably already know that.
    The kit was painted in oils and acylics and the groundwork was built up using polyfilla and tin foil to bulk it up.

    very good work. but for my taste the shades could be more fade out on the skintone's.
