Andy, the uniform is marvelous. Could you kindly explain what those "things" on the face are supposed to be? Mud stain mixed with sweat? This is very novel to me and a little beyond my comprehension.

    Thanks!

    Michael and Carl,
Thanks for the comments.A mixture of blood, sweat and dirt is the combination here. Its part of a technique being tried to work on the painting side of things.

After watching HBO's "Pacific", how else would one portray a Marine who was there fighting on one of the islands?...really nice touch with the sweat and mud...well done.

    Hello! Andy.
I liked the feel of a material of the uniform in particular.
Is a mold given to this?
Or is it seen this by your coat?
    I congratulate completion.

Grand stuff Andy! The mix of blood, sweat and grime [and exhaustion] looks great! If you are trying to achieve the same effect the make-up people did on the actors in The Pacific series, I would say you got it in one!

    All the best,
    Dan
