Some quick work in progress snaps of Dan Morton's for me strangely 3 dimensional figure of a US cavalryman in Mexico. Lot's of work still to do but I think you'll get the idea of where it's going.

Thanks very much everyone. When I've done a bit more I'll post more and hopefully better photo's, these were just quick snaps taken on the bench with no preperation. :)

Have you used oil on the horse?
    Looking good mate,

    Cheers Carl.
I used W&N Galeria and Artists acrylics on the horse, they have a satin finish which I like for flats and I thought they would work on the horse. They also have a slower drying time than Andrea and Vallejo paints which helps.

Looking nice Roger, the sheen on the horse is just right so hats off in pulling off that difficult skill.

I'm struggling to keep up with the amount of work you have on the bench mate, I can only ever concentrate on 1 at a time!

All good quality and I enjoy the updates.

    Cheers
    Dave

Cheers Dave. My meagre amount of projects does not in any way compare to your Normandy project... in comparison I'm lagging well behind. :D
