managed to work some more on this one last couple of days, added bit more colour under the eyes and just about finished the helmet, helmet straps are basecoated acrylic black and will now be finished in oils. I have blocked in the camo basecolour on smock ready for the Luftwaffe splinter pattern.

Still a way to go but its been enjoyable up till now.

    Stevo, my friend:

The cold and weary look you've gotten with your colour choices on the
face of this bust is awesome. IMHO, this is your best painting work
    so far, matey,

Steve, you've certainly captured the look of being cold and miserable, great work on the facial tones. Look forward to the camo (y)

Face is looking nice and tired now.

not sure if the cheekbones would have such a pink tone to a tired face though.....Perhaps tone it down a bit with some base colour?

    Overall though, much improved!

    Cheers

Jamie and Marcel thanks for the comments guys, Jamie i gave the cheeks the redish tone to get the cold atmophere into the face, the idea is cold and tired for this one and the cheeks are one of the few areas to get some colour into the face.

    Thanks guys,

    Hi! Steve.
The fresh tone is very cool!
I'm looking forward to completion of a uniform with interest.
