Hello everyone, having finally finished this showing, between the workpiece and the other, I want to tell my story ... I hope you will please. In the summer of 1988 (now I remember the exact date) I went with my cousin for the first time since Toy Texts (Padova), and was struck by lightning at the window of the soldiers, there were a number of paintings and only with the primer, already mount (series 77). E 'was that day that I saw for the first time in Victoria.
Once inside I was not sure what I wanted because I do not mean to, and probably the clerk noticed it and perhaps it aprofittò not making me see the news but that probably had to dispose of the pieces, but all new to me seemed wonderful. I saw the tribune of the beloved, and I decided to take it, because I liked it and because it was within the reach of my wallet.
Back home, full of enthusiasm, I tried to paint it, and them the disappointment was a disaster. I had some old and some Umbrol brush, remnants of ancient paintings of the Airfix 1:72
not knowing the techniques of painting, primer, glue, etc., as a result decided to paint the soldiers was not for me. Now we jump now to 1994 when I decided to try again.

In that year I met A. Amorese (Merlin) that together with another painter of Verona gave me some tips on how to use the oils from pictures (I just got someone here share the same passion, still we feel every day and see you often), and confidence ridandomi starting again I tried again with the Tribune and I felt a bit better than the previous version. glued on the base (first base paste without ever ...... I did not know) and while I wanted to put the glue in the window and held the Tribune took a deep dive on the floor face. ********* Jena as an angel who called me said he had a copy in some boxes and I bought it (thanks to Merlin), but not longer painted
In 2004, I happen to your hands together with the copy that I still jealously ruined, and painted his face, but then I put it back. Now with this new idea of the Vintage category doubt I'll finish after 22 years ....
I hope not to have bored you with this story but I liked the idea of sharing it with you.
