WIP Critique Tommy's War Vignette "DogFight"

    Started work on a 2 figure vignette from Tommy's War :)

    1st time painting WW1 subjects, do let me know if i got the colors wrong :) Tks !

    The figure looks great, the colour of the uniform is hard to get quite right as there is a hint of green in there with the brown. But the face looks great, full of character!

    Tweaked the colors of the tunic this evening. Hopefully its a closer match to the actual color. As always comments / critiques are welcomed :)

    Some pics to share. As always comments welcomed especially if i messed up on the colors :)

    Basically the tunic, pants, puttees, shoes are done. Left the badges, hat and some highlights at select spots to round off the figure.

    There isn't just one shade for khaki. As you show by doing his pants differently than his tunic. I think everything is within range but you wouldn't want to go greener up top. When I get my khakis too green and I don't want to start over I have resorted to an ink or thin paint wash in ochre or raw sienna to increase the yellow hue a bit. I see some browns in your green and I like that.
