I'm pleased to announce the release of the 6th figure in my bust range, this one a Trooper of the New Zealand mounted infantry Regiment, the Otago Hussars.

Sculpted by Antonio Mesegeur in 1/10 scale and cast in grey resin and with box art by Alex Varela this is a lovely addition to the range.

The Otago Hussars were a Kiwi mounted rifles territorial force, mobilised at the beginning of the war and sent, with the New Zealand infantry to Egypt and then Gallipoli.

The Regiment later went on to serve in France, the only New Zealand mounted troops to serve on the Western Front.

Great looking bust.

Can't wait to see what Mike Butler does with this one.

Alex did a really nice atmospheric paint up of him.
Note colouring of earlier style slouch hat which Alex captured well.

I have him on the line up Tony & thinking either a young, freckled red head or a moustached older chap.
Will wait and see, should hit bench within next month or so.
