Very nice... definitely not the military bust we are used to. I love the out-of-the-box ideas which bring a lot of character to your figures.

    Great work Andy,

Excellent and original work Andy!!! I think I'd rather leave of the ppsh as it breaks the profile of the bust somehow.

    cheers,

Great character but I must agree with Piet. In my opinion it would looks better without the gun

He has a mournful look on his face, full of character.
    Not sure about the weapon,
    Carl.

Very cool piece Andy. I would have to agree with the others, I would be tempted to leave off the weapon, but this is one fun piece!

Can you take a little suggestion?

The weight of his head should be all holding the violin in place...looks to me like there is little contact being made between his chin and the instrument.

I only know because I play a little and am making a violin!

Other than that I love the whole piece!!

    Thanks for your consideration.

Great concept, I like the idea play of Gun-Violin, but I too would either leave off the SMG or perhaps better sling it over his back, it unbalances the look of the bust where it is...IMHO.

That DID turn out great Andy!
Very original piece and nice pose; suits a bust well.
I have to agree with the other comments about the gun.
Maybe as a suggestion you could depict part of this or another gun slung over his shoulder like in the bust Martin Rohmann is working on in his interesting thread:

I think this configuration would suit your bust very well.
    All the best with it!

Great Andy!..really nice looking pose ..bet your sick of hearing this but I must admit I'd leave the SMG out, he looks great just with the violin.

    Guys,
Thanks for your comments very much.I could leave the weapon as an option and paint the bust for the boxart without the ppsh43.
    Cheers
