hello Guys,

It's been two weeks or so that i done an update of my Marcomanni warrior.
The face is finished, The cloak is finished (i am working on the shield), the tunica is finished.
The arms must be redone and the armor is just in undercoat.
So feel free to make critism and comments

Hello Marc,

The green of the coat is much more convincing now in comparison with the former colour when you showed him on our club meeting last tuesday. Maybe a little more highlighting on the shoulders would enhance the degradation of the colour. For the rest: he's turning into a beauty

You will see the next step maybe at first. Rob, you also make great progress. We are both two years on the club, we are enjoying, and learning how to paint, take some beers etc. But you improve really fast in acrylic, i move a little with oilpainting.
The most important thing is that we all have fun with painting little men.

Hey Mark...you done some good work especailly with the hair...did you change it from the last pictures....maybe it's the lighting from the photo...but it looks softer.
Great job on the flesh colours also.
And good luck with the metal work.

Yes the hair is changed. I give the hair a wash with burnt umber, sepia extra.
then highlighted again. So the transitions are as you say softer. I like it.
The metalwork has started last evening. And it will be bronze armour.
