    Hello,

here is the latest work on my workbech. That was a long work, I have begun it for a year. The scene show a last stand epizode from the early medieval. From the time of the Byzantian-Hungarian border wars. In 1127 started the Hungarian king Stephen II a great campaign against the Byzantian fortification line by the Danube river. The Hungarian troops have occuped Beograd and destroied the fortress.
The scale is 54mm, sculpting materialls were milliput, magic sculpt, pro create, green stuff.
Scabards and belts are just temporary.

All coment are wellcome! Sorry for the bad pictures!

    Cheers,
    Balázs

    Very very nice!

This would also have worked well as a boxed diorama, with sunlight streaming in from the left.

    Cheers,
    Jon.

Thank you for the kind words!

    Jon,

I have never made boxed diorama, but it's a good idea. I have seen some box at Euromilitaire. By the way I am inspirated by Mike Blanks and Bill Horans compositions. I would like to make vignettes like this two men's. (I think I'm not alone with this wish ;))

    Cheers,
    Balázs

    Thank you Christos,

here you can see the two flags what about I have talked with you. In a Swiss museum collection is located this Hungarian flag from the XIIth century. And about the Byzantian flag on the floor I have no idea how I will painted it, I need a references from this form if you have some informations.

    Thanks,
    Balázs
