God sends us, that we would have fallen into dust...

The figure from Taurus Miniaturеs. 200mm resin kit. Sculptor - Alexander Deryabin (Moscow)
The figurine is painted for the box art. Will soon be available for sale.

From myself I will say that here the first time applied the oil painting of the face. Everything else is acrylic. From working with this character got some great pleasure. I hope you enjoy it. It is interesting to hear feedback.

Several photos in the process http://www.planetfigure.com/forums/showthread.php?p=410107#post410107

This paintwork is simply outstanding! With that said, the sculpt feels a tad stiff to me. The helmet looks like it could stand to ride a bit further down on the head, particularly in back. Again, your brushes have simply awoken this sculpt!

Very nice painting indeed, with the stiff pose and the look of his face perhaps an arrow in the shoulder area would tie all together. Les

Excellent idea about the arrow. That would really tie the pose together and make an interesting story. I vote for it.

    Thank you, Adrian!
Painting of tunic took almost the whole evening.
First, I dyed the fabric in a pretty dark stone gray color. Then apply the glaze shadows and lightening. Then he draws the threads of the fabric a thin brush. Rapid movements. Paint should not be thick or too thin. Thread painted different shades, almost white and quite dark.
