I have an idea that I hope will go down well rather than in flames, on a completely voluntary basis, I think we should have a members telephone directory so that if we want to, we can contact each other direct. The format could be either a directory or an extra line in the little brown box thingy that comes up when you click on your avatar.

Please consider this idea and keep your comments clean ................ ish .

It might be a good idea for some . As for myself it wouldn't work because i work in a steel warehouse and have to look above for cranes . Can't answer the phone there and my hours always change

Having bought a BT system to block nuisance calls Gary (100% effective-even some of my friends can't get through) I would be reluctant to appear in a listing, I rarely give out my Mobile number and never to companies.

I still think the best way to make contact is via a PM and if you want to exchange numbers then it can be done without being made public.
