swabbing the decks

    Its 1/35 Wee friends signaler body and hat with a Hornet head in between.
    Buckets are Tamiya and mop is blu-tac at the moment.

    Small update worked on the base today swab4.JPG . Quite happy with the outcome.

    Very well done so far razor and the base/deck looks very convincing.

    Thanks for the encouragement. Worked some more on him still cant get the stripes on his collar right (3 attempts so far)

    As an acrylic dauber, I hate to say this, try white oils.
    That way you can correct the line with a brush dipped in turps, it'll take a while though.

    Me and stripes don't get on either. As housecarl says use oil. Nice job so far.
