This one has been a while but now completed, superb casting and fits together a dream. If you have this in your stash then fit the spontoon first Before the knapsack.
I decided to remove one button from the bottom of the tunic as a bit of wear and tear and the only thing left now is to add some dust, dirt and grime of battle.

The badge is a modern back badge from the old Gloucestershire Regiment.

Hi Bob, yes that's nice painting and now the bit when you have to ruin it with weathering to make it look more realistic, I am always a little apprehensive when I get to this stage but it has to be done lol.

Thanks all for the comments, Its is a joy to paint and put together, I did add some extra detail. I made a new spout and stopper for the canteen and the string is from lead wire. The metal stays which attach the canteen strap were thinned down a tad. The spontoon had some extra detail added to the spear shaft.
    Thanks again for stopping by.
    Best regards

Very nicely done; paint job is very well done. I like the red (still a hard color for me). I also like the plinth. Did you make it or purchase it?

Thanks Keith, value you input, cheers.

Cheers ClrSgt. The reds are from Andrea color set ACS-04, I seem to get on with these. The pyramid base is from Oakwood studios (www.oakwood-studios.co.uk) a superb company run by Richard whose service is 2nd to none

Thanks for the info Bob. I am going to contact Oakwood Studios about the plinth base. I have used the Andrea set, but my results don't look as good as yours. I am getting better at it though. Practice makes perfect as they say.
