I started a new project. A Spanish 2nd Barcelona Light Infantry Regiment Private during the Siege of Rosas in 1808. Beautifully sculpted by Eduard Perez for FeR Miniatures, this 75mm figure was inspired from Augusto Ferrer Dalmau’s painting "El Sitio de Girona". Here are few pics with my WIP. Still long way to go.

It's a very nice sculpted, casted and engineered figure and it "talked" to me from the first moment that I saw it. You now what I'm talking about. One of those figures that you want to paint, no matter what.
Hope to make it justice and I hope not to have an accident, as it happened before with other pieces. Fingers crossed...
