Looks great Nick. Great job on the hair, although maybe a bit dark sort of at the roots, just at the headband?

    Nice one Nick

I tried to paint blond but turns out yellow all the time.
Could you please explain what color you used for the hair?

    hi guys
blonde is a nightmare to paint and i to had a yellow finish then I found this pic on the net and the colour is closer to white than yellow so I mixed up 1 part yellow ochre to 50 parts white and 2 parts German grey the shading is a little over done but i wanted to have forced perspective so the left side of the bust is near black hope this helps cheers nick

    Love it.
I'm unfamiliar with this bust though, what's the size and who's the manufacturer.
    Thanks

Well done, Nick! I agree that your skin tones look real, and I'm filing away your notes on the mix you used for blonde, I will have to try it myself.

    Prost!

Yeah, we often trip up and make mixes for blonde hair too yellow.

Blonde hair IS generally some kind of yellow but in the same way that skin is orange or scarlet, so far closer to grey than to yellow yellow :)
