    Hi gentlemen,

This is my first post on this site; I have been working on this bust the past 6 month.. Progress is very slow due to work loads and family commitments!
I've went through lots of ups & downs, but I won't be posting these details at the moment, the pictures will somehow sums up the story! .... Let me first see how to insert the photos!!

Amazing work on the face and the mask... pity that the (excellent) mask will hide all this hard work on the face!
    Waiting to see more...
    Congratulations Maher!!!

    Evening gentlemen,

    Dan, thank you sir!
Dimitris & Zane, appreciated mates! I'm going to make two busts, one with the mask on, and the other without it; also one gentleman inspired me to make a helmet, so might go with this option as well!
    Adrian, thanks for looking sir!
Paul, very glad you've liked it and appreciated my madness!:)
    Ian, cheers mate!

Will try to do some progress over the weekend!

    Hello Maher,
the idea of the helmet is great, if i can contribute with a thought, it would be fantastic if the mask could hang in front of the chest , this would let the expression of this fantastic face with nothing to hide and the detailed mask
will remain on the same bust... of course if this is possible according to your project plans. waiting to see your progress !!
    Dimitris.

    Hi Maher,

This is amazing work , superb face , love the suggestion from Dimitris about the gas mask hanging that face is just too good to hide ...just screams terror .

I hope you are able to sculpt in a smaller scale but saying that I would buy this piece at the size ......would love to see this for real

Keep sculpting and a BIG WELCOME to PF what a great Ist thread

    Paul, cheers mate! (y)
Dimitris & Nap, thank you guys for you kind words and your suggestion! I'm afraid the mask is too big to hang down his neck and also it is moulded in the position where it is worn, if it hanging it must look looser! I will start the coloring and see where it will end up! :)
Now I have the mould and I can cast copies in this 1:4 scale! ... Honestly speaking, I regret doing it that big!! Definitely for future sculpts, I'll be working with smaller scale...

Big is good - shame that you can't have the mask hanging down. I reckon many who get one of these will try somehow to have the face exposed.

    Superb sculpt.

    Thanks Adrian,

Firstly, I will fully color it, and then I'll decide about the mask! .... What I see is that I'll be doing two versions, one with and the other without the mask!
I couldn't find time to do any coloring the past weekend... Let's see about the coming one!

    Regards,

    Maher

Evening gentlemen, finally I managed to do some paint job on it!

There will be some touch-ups to the outer border once attached to the straps!
