Samurai bust

    Hello,

    here is one of my painted busts, painted in the last year. It is a Samurai bust, unknown which manufactor. Perhaps anybody recognise it.

    The bust is by De Tara I believe long out of production. Novel idea to put the base on feet. Really like the work on the clothing, the lack of armour means this bust lends itself to artistry on the cloth, you have pulled it off really well.

    Love what you' v done . I' d been looking for years , before I manage to buy him . Keith is spot on about De Tara , one of their bust range . Shame they are no longer available , were well ahead of their time.

    These 'feet' were part of the much missed Border Miniatures range. Could transform a basic cube of wood into something very special. Pity nobody picked up the mould.

    Good to know [Pete Watson?] The PM feet really work with japanese pieces. What was great about the Border Miniature feet was they could be used as architectural elements on groundwork
