    Hi All,
I started this one from Hawk Miniatures the same time I picked back up the dog, it depicts a Royal Artillery gunner and is 75mm scale. I have only modified the helmet by removing the pugree and goggles as this was from a later period to 1879.
It is all painted in acrylics for the moment but will enhance some of the features in oils. Please feel free to comments.
    cheers

    Hi Roger,
Thank you, mate all I can say for the moment is I have the bit between my teeth again.

    Hi Keith,
Thank you mate, glad to be back at it. Glad you appreciate some of the work I have put into the weathering so far.

    Hi Bob,
Thank you, I wanted to do a bit more conversion work but it being a one piece casting I just worked with what I had.

    Hi Keith,
Thank you mate, I have changed to Jo Sonya paints and find them much better for me, especially the blue they dry dead flat.
    cheers

Very Nice Richie! I like the weathering on the figure. Did you use weathering pigments (powder)? I've never tried them and just wondered about them.

    Thanks,
    Ken

    Hi Ken,
Thank you, I do not own any weathering pigments either. The weathering was done using a mix of 50:50ish buff type colour and a brown (cannot remember the exact colours) thinned with Medea airbrush cleaner and then finely sprayed to achieve the desired look.

    Hi Nap,
I never thought about putting them in bottles, just use straight from the tube. They do spray really well too, but it's the flatness when dry that is impressive no sheen whatsoever.
