we can be happy at the thought that he died in some considerable pain before collecting his 1st class ticket for damnation.

    Hi Mark,
PM inbound. Also have you considered doing a You Tube demonstration?
I think it would be extremely popular. And It might convince me to swap to acrylics if I saw them in action rather than on paper (sic) because I have trouble getting my head around them.

The black is very well done and the armband has good contrasts too. I like the darker brown shirt collar, it gives him more of an evil presence.

Thank you all very much for the positive feedback!

I know the subject can cause problems for some but as the Pythons put it!

    The colour shout outs are..

All the black parts use this Vallejo Model Color palette..

    Base Black
    Mid German Grey
High Mid mixed with a tiny bit of Neutral Grey

I sprayed everything black over the grey primer then sprayed German grey from above to get the soft folds of the cloth.
I repainted the boots and straps with black then used the Neutral grey with alot of German grey mixed in to do the hard highlights on the leather work. Glazes of black were used to sharpen things up and to keep everything dark.

A tutorial video on spraying Acrylics....Maybe .... lol

    :)

Thanks again chaps and with luck the next update will see this finished :)

Yep as Bootneck says a masterclass.
I wouldn't normally pay a huge amount of attention to WW2 Germans but this went straight to my reference folder.
IMO Mark this is easily one of your best works (y)

    Great work on this figure!

Not to get any more political than others have already, but with all the present day dictators and terrorists crawling out of every sewer around the world, I don't think that fretting over the symbolism of a miniature depiction of times past is putting concern where it is needed in our day and age.
