    Hello all,

Finally it's done, the figure is on it's groundwork and I can post some pictures of it.

As you all might remember, this is a new 120mm figure by Alpine Miniatures in resin.
I made the stone roadsign myself, using a mix of Magic Sculp and Pro Create. The groundwork was made from a mix of Magic Sculp and various pigments from Mig and Andrea. For the grss and herbsI used different materials from Diorama Materials, Joefix and Heki. All is mounted on a custom made base from Armstrong Bases from the United Kingdom. The also engraved the title and the 82nd badge directly in the wood.

As soon as I got my figure back, I'll post some pictures with the helmeted head, which is also the head that stays on.

All remarks, critics, hints and tips are more then welcome. And of course I would love to hear what you guys (and ladies!) think of it.

    Cheers,

    Gino.

    Hi Gino,

Beautifully painted and superb groundwork mate, but there's not a spot of dirt on your figure. He looks like he's just parachuted from a parade ground into the field.

Perhaps you haven't finished painting him yet , but I would like to see some mud and dirt on his boots, knees and elbows at least.

Really nice work Gino. I can't dissagree with the fact that he could do with some "dirtying-up", but the ground work is fantastic! Nice piece!
