Beautiful figure, Roger. The army of Frederick the Great and the War of the 7 years is one of my favorites. I see you used the correct documentation for the uniform. Osprey and other sources such as German, indicate yellow breeches and vest for 6 º, however Funcken specifies vest and white pants, it may be wrong.
    Good job.

Thank you Eduardo. I consulted several conflicting sources for the vest and breeches and in the end took a guess as to what was the, in my view, most believable. I hope I've got it right.

The other query I have that you might be able to help with is the colour of the musket sling, red brown or white?

    Roger.

Hi Roger and toa all who is interested in this period. IT seems that there´s no doubt. I take the text from Osprey MAA240, Frederick the great´s army 2, infantry: About the musket " The leather slings were varnished red". Take a look to this illustration.

Roger great painting and curious to know if he's in the process of loading or curling his moustache.

I just saw this in your post over at HZ, Roger, so I hurried back here to see more. Well done, I like your shading especially.

    Prost!
