I have now managed to complete a little more on this latest project,i have done some more to the Czapska with the painting of the wite band and black turban,i still need to add a litte more detail to the larger tassles and cords but its coming along nicely.
I still hav'nt painted the face as yet apart from the undercoat as I wanted to keep the crimson / red mix going so I could complete the plastron and collar, this stage I am happy with now and I have added some shading to the white piping on the plastron as well.
the buutons I did with Dark star metallic and silver ink.
I have also added a base coat for the hair which I will finish in oils as well.

Many thanks bob for those kind words,I'll be moving onto the face and hair next,I always feel the piece really starts to look the part once the face painting is complete

All looks great so far Brian.......looks a bit like a bull fighter pose or maybe a pirouette in the pics, sorry :).Yes, I know; my overactive imagination just gave me a slap in the face :). Keep up the good work.

Wow wow wow mate, I'm not here often but partly it makes it better when I see this. Superb mate and now I'm looking at part one. You nailed the Crimson which is a hard colour, I think you got it bang on. I've not seen a piece painted so quickly, a good sign though :) cheers mate, Gra

Thanks paul, that blue is only the first acrylic basecoat mate,it needs another light coating and then finished in oils, not reached that stage yet
