    Hi Guys

Here are the completed versions , I will be adding the bugle to the one with the bonnet and a sword hilt ( need to think how best to do that !!!!

Oh by the way about 10 minutes after this picture was taken I dropped the 2nd one ..resulting in resculpting all the collar/lacework etc ..all is well now !!!

    WIP 012.jpg WIP 013.jpg

Both now fitted to their proper bases ready for priming and base coating !!!

All comments welcome ...and suggestion on that sword hilt!!!

    Thanks for looking in

    Hi Guys

Update ..both now printed in black ...dtill unsure about how I should aporoach the sword hilt ?

Realised I need to add the ties at the back of the bonnet on the bugler ....

Was there these on the Kilmarnock undress as well or just a sewn down bow ?

Anyone confirm the dicing on the 72nd ...I am all diced out!.......Scotyy sent you PM !

    Thanks for looking in

    Verbal update

Fitted the bugle and test fitted the sword hilt .....after going back decided it was too much to have both so thei hilt stays with the bugle going and the new cord ( which will be green) being redone using Kneadite Greenstuff putty ending at the lower edge of the belt

Now all ready for painting ..will be doing the hike separate and fitting at the end ...I have made the scabbard top/belt strap so it should fit nicely at the end .

Thanks to everyone for comments especially Scotty ...dicing is intersected with green on the middle row.

Watch out for the SBS ....many models now all ready for the brush .

Nap , these two are looking great, nice conversions as well. If Uncle Albert (only fool and horses)had joined the Army and not the Navy this would be him.

Sorry Kevin I'm playing catch up at the moment.
They are both looking really good.
As you know I have liking for the wind instrument and your rendition of the M1815 bugle is pretty good.
The off white colour match on the bugler's tunic is perfect. Is there any chance of sharing your colour mix?
I am really looking forward to the completion of these two beauties Mate.
    Kindest regards

    Hi Guys

Sorry for lack of posting on this ....been dealing with life in general! ...bit of a loss of mojo ..but think it's here now!

    Keith

The uniform mix .....using the Andrea white set ..base , 2nd high and 2nd shadow ......then using Reaper weathered stone 09087 and then highs with Linen White 09061 with final highs of Water soluable Oils Titanium White ....

Bit of a trial and error ( wish I had Daniel to paint it!) but pleased with the result ......for me it's knowing when to stop!

    Update

    Couple of iPad pics ......

Uniform all done , including lacework on arms and collar ( doesn't really show too well! ) , bugle cord all done might rehighlight the furry bits on the shoulders ,, plume all done , beard etc ginger ...sort of !!

Will be adding the bugle and the sword ..next up will be the belt using Reapers 09062 Leather white as a base then the feathery hatty bonnety thing , buttons .....cap badge ...

    It's getting there !

    Thanks for looking in

    Hi Kev,
I trust all is good with you and Mojo is back on song.
Thanks for the colour mix details. I have seen and had many figures where the bandsmen's tunics are too white. your 'creamy' tunic is right on the money. I did not miss the word oil in your write up.......we'r all doomed.
I am really envious of this beauty and will be on the look out for some similar bandy or convertible piece.
I love the direction this is going Mate, press on with gusto:)
