    Gidday All,
Among the projects started lately is this figure of a NewZealander in the Pacific,in particular the Soloman Islands,WW2.He is armed with a Thompsom smg an earlier type but with flat grip instead of the handle grip.He also has a machete which is of pre -war origin,American issue.
What is interesting in this figure is the issue of both US and British equipment. He wears US fatigues but wears the gaiters and webbing of British design. The hat worn will be the US Marine soft peaked cap.Comments welcome.

looks very nice! nice pose, too. but watch the proportions, his right leg seems a little bit too big for me (I'm sorry if it is the camera angle). just my 2 cents

    Gidday All,
Have done some alterations.First Lennarts comment on the right knee has been brought into proportion.Secondly the Thompson and right arm have been altered to a more aggresive position with a shift of balance more forward.Comments welcome.

If you removed the Tommy gun it could easily be Captain Willard from Apocalypse Now!!

    Gidday,
The hat has been added and the left pouch altered slightly downwards in keeping with the sweep of the arm. There is still the equipment at the back to do,water bottle etc.comments welcome.
