Outstanding. This is going to take a bit of explaining to the Missus.
She just can't seem to understand the absolute need to possess this.

Good grief but that fish scale armour will take some doing. Are these guys from this world who paint like this? Amazing.

It is a bit scary, reminds me of first seeing Life's Churchill bust in terms of realism, but it's got to be done!

Congratulations to all involved in producing this stunning piece of art!

    Cheers

Its interesting how a serpent or reptilian theme is woven into the bust. I presume cloak is alligator skin and scales of lamellar armour have fiery salamander/dragon feel to them.
To continue a fantasy theme - I reckon this can be used as a Prince Doran Martell of Dorn, or some one of House of Sunspear (Game of Thrones, of course)(y)

Despite brilliant rest - the helmet is the centerpiece for me. Absolutely marvelous sculpting, lending itself to superior painting.

Derek, it's easy, when you go to a show buy it and give it to a mate to take home. Then he can give it to you at your next club meeting so that when it comes into the house, it's coming from an unexpected time and an unexpected quarter, therefore the wife has no reason to suspect anything and you get away with your new purchase ungrilled(y):sneaky:.
    Best wishes, Sneaky.
PS All this is discussed on the thread "How do they Know"
