Looks superb but as WW1 isn't my things I didn't realise that the portugese were on the Western front let alone the Portugese airforce. Would anyone be so good as to enlighten me with some references on this one?

    Cheers

    Hi Huw

only talk about Germans, the British, French, American
the Portuguese were there, in front
Portuguese pilots were part of the French squadrons
They were formed in England and then left for France
In the battle of La Lys, a Portuguese soldier received the highest award given by France to a soldier.

    Hello Vitalino

many thanks for such a fast response to my query. Do you recommend any English books on this subject as it seems a bit unusual and very interesting to me.

    Have a look at :

Small mounting, without words, made from a vintage newsreels, broadcast in a RTP1 report. It traces the media vision of the time on the Portuguese involvement in the Great War in France.

Very rare and beautifully rendered.Portuegese subjects are saddly missing especially after Viriatus went out of business.

Viriatus did a great job showing our great military history to the miniature world. A solid project, very professional with accurate historical notes etc etc... Now is the turn of Modelix Studio with this lovely WWI subjects.

    Cheers,
    Pedro.

Yes I like this. I also like the building section backdrop. I'd buy both, but I'm sure the building would also sell on its own as well.
