I post my last work, first of all I want to inform that is an old piece, the only modification I make more hight the hat and I made the crest and ribbon on the hat.
for the rest I just painted it.
I ended whith a little bit of history:
after the end of the Napoleonic wars the Austrian Empire took the lands of the republic of Venice and the Austrian Navy put its most important base in Venice, there is also training officers, partly Venetian naval tradition passed into the Austrian. For example in 1866 at the Battle of Lissa between the navy of the kingdom of Italy and Austria, the Austrian commander scream all orders in the Venetian dialect, and the helm of the Austrianflagship was from a town near Venice, also the legend said that when Admiral Tegetthoff announced the victory the sailors rejoiced screaming alive san marco.
