That'll be me, then, Fogie, when my arthritic hands give way to 'spells' of dropping stuff....usually on our stone kitchen floor:rolleyes:

This is a cracking good vignette.....but.....and this is just me.
I keep looking to the right rather than being drawn towards the centre of the scene.
It's a pity that the seated figure wasn't positioned as in the painting and that the walking figure interacted more with the scene. Perhaps leaning against the windowsill.
    Beautiful work nonetheless.

I agree with Derek. The original composition was more efficient as it focused on the café and its sitting client. The added walking figure somehow distracts attention: the passer-by does not interact with the café in any way, even does not look at it. Also, his head seems to be too large for his body. Having said that, the whole series, including this scene, is so innovative and attractive.

It's like in theatre or painting ( rules ); we read from left to right so if the 1st perso you encouter is marching from left to right, it accelerate the scene, ending to the right
Let's place the sitting on the left, you're stoped then continue to read to a marching perso on the right who march to left, and your regard rebounce to center

In a dio, a charge from left to right, enhance a speed impression; from right to left, a captured moment .

    :)

Really new is the little iguana king of "N-S prod" not, it's been longer avaiable as a single character.

New is, that he is now also offered with scenery!

Title: Iguana King et son décor
Scale: height 40 mm (the iguana!)
    Resin

    Painting: Samy Thual
