01%20Reg%20-%20Teniente%20Coronel%20%20-%201812%20-%20Leonov.jpg Can anyone tell me which country used an "R" on their saddle blankets?

I have several pictures showing this but can't identify the source.

Thanks Guys, most plates I have with this Prussian State have a monogram FR clearly shown which is why what appears to be a single "R" threw me. (any idea what publication they are from Roger/Carl?)

Do you have to subscribe to the Histofig site? my link only show 50% of the plate so I wondered if they had stopped free downloads?

The Histofig site has plates in Computerised Wargame format for most of the Napoleonic regiments-I have 2 binders full of them but probably a few missing-they are not as good as the Peter Bunde Brigade Plates but cover much of the same territory without having to pay 5 Euros each (Brigade price)

Looking at these plates has given me a strange urge to order some Napoleonic flats for some reason.

Claude, not a Prussian state. It was a Duchy until the break up of the Holy Roman Empire in 1806, when it became a Kingdom in it's own right under King Frederick I of Wurttemberg. Hence Frederick Rex, FR. Although Hohenzollern Castle the ancestral seat of the Prussian (and Imperial German)Royal family is in Wurttemberg.
