I wanna show you guys my latest work. It's the Myrmillo from Alexandros Models.
It is a great figure, but the fitting was very bad. Alexandros has great figures, but the resin casting is awesome, the metal casting is not very good.
Anyway, after alot cleaning, glueing and working alot with putty to fill all the gaps it's finally there.
It whas a pleasure to paint something else, it helps to keep you mind up and give's a relaxed feeling in your painting.
Hope you all can enjoy the pictures and give me some bad comments.
As always painted up with oils and printers inkt.

the metals are very cool. I gotta get some of those inks. I think more contrast of the skin would look nice, maybe a higher highlite? But I still like to look at this finished figure. Nice work.

I like that Marc, the figure is extemely well painted and the groundwork stands out as looking very realistic and sets the scene firmly in the arena.

Marc I have this on my workbench at the moment. Did you have a drama with the tiger skin near the shoulder? Mine seems to have a huge gap.

Hi Marc just a few more of us to comment and you've got the full set of Scots.
A great job you've captured the atmosphere and attitude perfectly.
Hope you bring it to Euro.
    Cheers

Very nice Marc ,I like the fact you've added the blood,I hate to see gladiator models all clean and pristine, you've created an atmosphere with this piece and it's finished in oils which is great, nice sweat effect as well.
