Here is a Young Miniatures bust my daughter painted over the summer. This is her first figure. She is 17 years old and enjoys art so she wanted to try this. I am very pleased with her effort. Thanks for looking, Rusty.

I think she was done a lovely job. Better than I would have been able to do at her age, and to be honest better than I can do now. Well done indeed.

Excellent work for the first time. Wish mine first looked like that.
Keep her in " the familly " of figure painters.

Tell your daughter for me that that is some mighty fine work and to keep at it!

Hope to see more of her projects in the future.

Thanks for the comments. She really seemed to enjoy this project. I enjoyed watching it progress and answering any questions she had. She plans on doing another one, however school starts in a few days and the free time won't be as abundant.
    Thanks again, Rusty

Hi Rusty she has done a great job on this and at 17 she has many years of painting ahead of her so she should certainly be encouraged to continue, there is a shortage of females in our hobby but the ladies that are painting are excellent and more than often can put us males in our place lol.

    Very nicely painted.
It puts a lot of my early stuff to total shame (and probably some of my more recent efforts as well).
Look forward to seeing more, in due course.

    Cheers,
    Andrew

Amazing first one, white can be tricky sometimes but it looks great. Hope she will do more when time allows it, I would like to see more from her skillful hands. Please give her my regards.

Great work on her first figure, only downside, its going to cost you a fortune now keeping her supplied with more figures.:(
