Hello my Friends.
This is very hard for me to write.
I heard from my Brother yesterday evening and he told me that my Dad had gone worse.
It was decided that along with the stroke and other serious health issues that all life support would be taken away so that my Dad could pass away in peace.
I was told he would probably pass within 48 hours.
I don't travel well but last night my Son took me to Lincoln so that I could see him for one last time.
It was probably one of the hardest things I have had to do in my life.
I stood with him for about an hour talking to him while holding his hand,He had no clue that I was even there(but I knew).
I gave him one last kiss and said my final goodbye to him.
My son then drove me home.
I now have to wait for the phone call from my Brother to tell me the most saddest news.
I'm heartbroken and devastated and can not stop crying.
To all those that left a message in my last thread,I thank you from the bottom of my heart.
I now need to be left alone for a few days or so,so that I can fight not crashing with my own illness.

Sorry, I can not write in English, but I've had a similar experience for more than 10 years ... still today I visit my dream and fixes where I am wrong. It's the body that flies away, not the soul.

I,am very sorry to hear this I had the same happen to me a few years ago with my mother she was 98 but age makes no diffrence and I like you suffer from the black dog which makes it even worse but you will get through this it never go,s away but you will learn to live with it.Try to remember all the good times.
